It takes money to make money

Or that's what they would like you to believe.

Well, let me tell you that is a bunch of balony. In fact the web is the only place I know where you can start, run and profit from without having to spend a dime!

They say:

  • You will need your own hosting
Bullshit, while it is true that most freehosts fuck you left and right and in between, there are still a few good ones out there that will allow you to set u a decent website/gallery or whatever it is you want to build. A good example: http://www.juicypornhost.com Excellent hosting, no banners and all the features you would need including php and mysql!
  • You will need your own domain
Bullshit again. A subdomain provided by a freehost is just as good if not better.
  • You will need to pay for accounts at TGP's to get your galleries listed.
BS once more because it is not worth it. Spend a little more time and work around it.
  • You will need to buy content because sponsor content is overused
BS, BS and more BS! with the ammount of people roaming the web it is almost impossible to overuse content. You just have to keep finding new places to post.

The general believe seems to be that with the above you can't use the big sites like TGP's, linklists and the likes and therefor will not be able to get enough traffic to your pages.
That simply isn't true. It takes a slightly different method to make it all work but it is possible, in fact it is easy if you have got the time to spare.

In the coming articles in this category I will post exactly how to do it, make good money while you won't be spending a dime.

The only thing it is going to cost you to be able to make a living online is TIME. If you have plenty in that department stick around and keep reading the rants in here, cause the Wolfman is going to teach you how to cash in on it

Working from the shades

After I turned away from TGP2 I went back to my normal activities.
I quit the boards once and for all and just expanded my offline assets and lived happily ever after.

all that time I still created(and create) my free sites, galleries and the works and as always it stills makes me good money. The Internet is an addictive hobby and once you're touched by it almost imposible to let go. Being human after all (Well sort of) I am no exception to that rule.

I did stay off the boards and out of the spotlight and am basicaly just minding my own business until last week a webmaster I know from the Sexshare era Pointed me to some nasty threads and events on various boards where my name was pulled in as if I was the alter ego of the scammer in question.

The webmaster theyhad the problem with called himself RicardoB and for some reason they believed him to be me. I have read up all I could find and from what I understand they came to this shocking conclusion because of an email address I was supposed to have used also.

I checked it out and saw it was about the addy overberg at a1.nl. Well here is a blast from the past for me! It is true that I have used a1.nl because about 5 years ago that was my ISP, but they went down about 4 years ago. Also my addy there was wolfshade at a1.nl and not the other.

So the above can mean 1 out of two things. This RicardoB character is either claiming to be me(asuming the email addy isn't all they found to come to the conclusion) or we have some conspiracy theory addicts at work here.

Well lets put a few things straight. From what I read that RicardoB is:

- A traffic trader and traffic broker

I never used traffic trading(Circle jerk crap) to get visitors to my site(s)
I have never ever sold a hit other then sending traffic to my sponsors.

- Came from the dialer industry

I hate dialers with a passion they are the same as spyware and only the scum of the earth use them.

I started in the 80's on the very first freehost. Always have and always will use freehosting.
I use regular traffic techniques meaning I exchange links to get my traffic and that's it.
I never have and never will run webmaster services other then resources sites. So brokering traffic has never been my thing and never will be for that matter.

I have no doubts some scams went on at those boards and that RicardoB character seems to be in the middle of it, but I do not know him and do not have a clue how they drew my name into it. I am NOT him!

If nothing else I hope this blog will put that straight.

Here you have it, the history of Wolfshade from start till now.

The TGP2 adventure

After the Sexshare period had ended I was doing the things I still do which is running my sites, and basically don't get involved in the petty stuff that went on at the boards in those days.

I was on a lot of those boards watching, reading and occasionally giving my opinion on things. It was on the GFY board A thread about giving away content and how TGP was the absolute overkill because it gave away to much of it including the moneyshots.

It was in that thread the concept of TGP2 was invented by a webmaster that was allready using the format succesfully.

There was much support for it and I liked the idea. I wanted to help so I gave the TGP2 crowd a place to post, brainstorm and organise the TGP2 movement.
At first things came along very nice, untill a few characters came in to play, that where out for a killing for themselves and nothing more.

I reacted against them, the result they took over the moneyhungry crowd and started their own movement.

A few months and an overworked programmer later I decided to hell with it and quit that too.

TGP2 died a soft death not long after.

Over all the months we had been in to it we used the Format and it worked exceptionally well for me. My programmer that also ran the TGP2 board for me adopted my techniques and as I always do he to shared all results without moderation.

The characters mentioned above abused the info to blackball him, he went against them and it nearly cost him his health, untill I stepped in and simply pulled the plug on the whole deal.

An interesting side note is that till today I still use the TGP2 format for galleries, and it still outperforms any TGP gallery I ever made. To me that proofs the concept is sound and even today it works miracles.  I learned from my mistakes though I won't attempt to share my results anymore.  I will just keep on using them and make some easy money.

Maybe on this blog I will post some things for the true webmasters willing to learn after I am done setting matters straight from the past.

That's it for all to see, the real story on what went down on TGP2

Sexshare: The story and how it ended.

Most people that really know me, met me at the freehost Sexshare dotcom. It was a projects established by Robin Nixon who is a true Icon of innovation in this industry. IMHO he truly did run the best freehost out there, and I was one of the first to use it and I am not ashamed to say profitted from it like mad

For all webmasters on it I ran a resources site and was one of the most active webmasters on the Sexshare board. Life was good during those days where all one had to do was whip up a page with some thumbnails. Add one or two banners and rake in the money.

Then Robin decided it was time to call it a day and decided to sell Sexshare, because he wanted to return to England and start something offline.
The new owners turned out to be Intercosmos(You would know them today from their excellent Direcnic domain registering services), who were allready big in non adult hosting and had dabbled succesfully before in adult hosting and where looking to expand.

I got in touch with them, and they asked me to become a part of their team. I decided to accept the offer, so I started running abuse and support for them, killing illegal sites, Built a real resource site for Sexhare and took over the board. Things ran great for a while but then Intercosmos introduced new headers and footers, of the type that no TGP would accept, and while I had tried my best to work for the best solution on both sides, in the end not many TGP's would accept Sexshare anymore.

It came to a point that I could not stand behind this once great freehosting service anymore, so I quit.

And there you have it, the true story on what went down.

Welcome to the Blog of the real Wolfshade!

Hi Everybody,

For those that know me this should be a blast from the past. I haven't been active in the webmaster community for years.
As a webmaster I've always continued my projects for myself in the shadows. I kept a low profile because I did not feel the need to get involved again in any webmaster projects.

Untill now that is. It came to my attention that my name had been spreading on certain boards in a negative way and after some reading up, I have to conclude that either some conspiracy theory addicts insist on drawing me into some events that happend a while ago, or somebody was/is claiming to be me.

Which is the truth? I don't know(or care), but fact is that it is time to come out of the shadows one more time and speak out.

So here it is, my brand new blog. I will use it to give my opinion on matters, and most important set some facts straight.

For all adult webmasters it should be a good source of information from an old timer like me and hopefully it will set a few things straight that went on at the boards a while back.

I have to admit a part of me feels exited to enter the arena once again.
